Richard Welsh - Junior Engineer
Rich graduated from the University of Durham in 2007 with a BSc in Computer Science. Barely a few hours from handing in his gown he was off to America to work for Internal Drive technology summer camps, teaching the Video Game Creation course to the eager teens of California. Once suitably sunburnt, he was banished back to Britain in autumn due to his questionable taste in shorts.
In January 2008 he started work as a Junior Developer at Virtual Playground in Newcastle upon Tyne. Whilst there he worked on several published PC titles, including Prison Tycoon 4 and Eco Tycoon: Project Green.
Early 2009 saw him migrate North, where he now works with the Ruffian team as a Junior AI and Gameplay Developer.
